My name is Fenna Benita Birgit von Hirschheydt. I was born and grew up in Switzerland. I graduated with a BA in Drama and Theatre Studies from Trinity College Dublin and am currently completing an MFA in Stage Design at The Lir Academy.
I have designed the set and the lights for multiple productions in Switzerland and Dublin, among them Antigone (Aarau), Stillgelegt und Abgefahren (Aarau), The World We Live In (Samuel Beckett Theatre, Dublin), Base Tempo and The Handover (The Lir, Dublin).
In my spare time I enjoy playing beach volleyball, baking and cooking, reading, going to the theatre, swimming, horse-riding and spending time out-doors in general. I love doing unusual and adventurous things like swimming in glacier lakes, operating massive excavators, exploring abandoned buildings or making cheese.
